Christmas experiment with an AI assistant: A glimpse into the future of customer support During the pre-Christmas period, we decided to combine the pleasant with the useful and surprise our clients with an unconventional Christmas greeting. At the same time, we wanted to test the capabilities of our new AI assistant in real-world conditions. Here is a summary of our little experiment: Conversation samples are for testing purposes. We do not share original conversations with our clients.

First Conversation

Statistics and Progress:

- We attempted to contact a total of 65 clients - We successfully reached 30 of them; others were unavailable or didn't answer the phone - 7 clients completed the entire conversation with the AI assistant (answered all questions) - 14 of them didn't want to participate and said they didn't have time - 9 either hung up or decided to try differently and didn't answer questions

Interesting Observations:

1. Some clients were surprised by the unusual call and needed time to adapt. 2. Pre-Christmas time constraints affected some clients' willingness to engage in a longer conversation. 3. At the end of the day, we faced a technical challenge when multiple callers ended up in one call - a valuable lesson for future improvements.
